Facing a cancer diagnosis often brings trauma and mental health challenges. In this Simon Says session, Susan Gubar, PhD, distinguished emerita professor of English at Indiana University and 16-year cancer survivor, will discuss diagnosis as a mental health crisis. Terry Whitt Bailey, PhD, president and CEO of Cancer Support Community Indiana, will share community resources. Dana Cattani, PhD, former Kelley School of Business lecturer and 12-year cancer survivor, will discuss advocacy as therapy and will serve as moderator.
