Register for the November Simon Says Expert Series:
Ending the lung cancer epidemic in Indiana: How close are we?
1 p.m. ET Tuesday, November 19
The lung cancer epidemic has raged out of control in Indiana for the last century. For most of this time, those with lung cancer have felt guilt, stigma, shame, isolation, and pervasive hopelessness. However, the outlook for progress against lung cancer is far brighter today. Advocacy to support those affected by lung cancer is swelling. The end of the epidemic has finally come into view and End Lung Cancer Now, an initiative of the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, has developed the blueprint to accelerate the eradication of this painful and prolonged epidemic.
In this Simon Says session, Nasser Hanna, MD, chair of End Lung Cancer Now, and MacKenzie Church, executive director of End Lung Cancer Now, will discuss the work that is taking place to reduce the suffering and death due to lung cancer in Indiana.
